Since March 2022, you have the opportunity to donate a small amount to a good cause every time you order from us. Of course, we are also involved and double your donation (up to a maximum of 5 €).
Together we have supported the people in Ukraine during the first 6 months. In total, more than 7.200 € went to the UN Refugee Agency, which has been providing people in the affected areas with food, clean drinking water, medicines and much more since the beginning of the war.
In August 2022, we changed the organisation in order to be able to dedicate ourselves to other, not less important causes. All donations collected in the amount of more than € 5.300 - including our doubling - benefited climate protection until the beginning of February 2023, as together we supported atmosfair in their worldwide climate protection projects.
Subsequently (since February 2023), the donations benefited the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria. We chose Aktion Deutschland Hilft - an alliance of various German aid organizations for disaster relief - as the partner organization for this. Together we were able to collect almost € 3.000 in those four months.
As of June 2023, we once again changed the organization we support. Over the following nine months, we raised nearly €6,600 for the World Food Programme - a humanitarian organization of the United Nations dedicated to fighting global hunger.
From March 2024, the German Ocean Foundation (Deutsche Stiftung Meeresschutz - founded in 2007) became our selected organization. It is committed to protecting marine biodiversity, restoring habitats, and improving climate protection. By March 2026, a total of €12,000 had been donated to the foundation.
As we continue to focus on supporting climate and nature conservation, we have now chosen WWF as our next partner and are grateful to everyone who would like to support us in this effort.
